Senior Software Engineer.

Mission

You are part of our R&D department which develops the Nagra Scout intelligent home network security platform for our customers. More specifically, within the Back-End team, you are a Java DevOps engineer in charge of several components based on Java/JEE technologies, managing a Security Platform for controlling the security of home networks, deployed on AWS.

Responsibilities

Part of a DevOps team in charge of the Design, Implementation, Validation and Deployment of Software services used in Nagra Scout product.
Continuously Integrate and Deploy Services in different environments (development, test, production)
Monitoring of AWS productions’ services
Level 3 support for all deployed services in production
Pro-active monitoring
Work in an Agile, Test-Driven development process
Execute and automate operational processes accurately and securely.
Collaborate and work closely with other teams in India.
Provide feedback, coaching and guidance to enhance juniors’ skills in the team.

Requirements / Profile

Bachelor or master’s degree in Technology or Computer Science
8 years of experience with proven track records in development in the following technologies:

AWS networking, cloud security, monitoring
Java
Python
Docker container concepts
Kubernetes or AWS Fargate deployment automation & orchestration
Infrastructure automation with Terraform and Ansible
Git source control
Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment
Agile methodology

Curious and proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and commitment
Hard-worker team player who gets the job done with enthusiasm in a very demanding business environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ready to go extra-mile to achieve great results.
Fluent in English and French.
