Job Title: Business Development Manager / National Sales
Location: North America - East Cost (remote / 50% travel)
Position Summary
Are you a high-performing Business Development Manager with a passion for building a business from the ground up? Do you excel at landing net-new logos, growing key accounts, and working alongside channel partners in complex technical sales environments? Kudelski IoT Solutions is expanding our sales team with a Business Development Manager to drive growth of our GPS asset tracking and indoor zoning solutions across national and global accounts.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team where you’ll serve as a subject matter expert on our IoT GPS solutions while enabling our partner ecosystem to succeed.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute a territory plan focused on net-new acquisition and strategic account expansion.
- Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing.
- Develop and manage relationships with key named accounts and national dealer networks.
- Build account plans and manage pipeline via CRM with accurate forecasting and activity tracking.
- Serve as the GPS and IoT subject matter expert across client and partner engagements.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, operations, and legal to navigate complex deals and launches.
- Lead partner sales enablement efforts, supporting channel reps while letting them lead the relationship.
- Co-sell with channel partners; drive joint marketing efforts, campaigns, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Participate in contract negotiation, legal agreement review, and deal desk processes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our GPS solutions and value propositions in markets such as automotive, fleet, and construction.
- Help dealers develop complex sales plans designed for high penetration rates of RecovR.
Requirements / Profile
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise sales and/or partner sales, preferably in asset tracking, white label dealers solutions, or F&I products.
- Strong experience working with channel ecosystems, including enablement, co-selling, and partner management.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals, managing complex sales cycles, and accurate forecasting.
- Deep experience navigating legal agreements, dealer contracts, and operational processes.
- Strong negotiator—comfortable working with procurement, handling objections, and simplifying complex pricing and contracts.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, product, and legal teams.
- Technically curious and able to learn and communicate complex GPS and IoT solutions, including BLE, Wi-Fi, RTLS, cellular, and connected hardware/software platforms.
- Familiarity with selling into the automotive dealer environment or understanding of how high-emotion, entrepreneurial businesses operate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with executive stakeholders (COO, CTO).
- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-motivated, accountable, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Able to travel domestically up to 50%.
