• Act as a cross-functional leader across infrastructure, security, and
development teams.
• Operate in a multicultural team across India, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.S.
• Serve as a technical mentor and role model for DevOps engineers.
• Participate in executive-level planning for infrastructure growth and
modernization.
• Support high-impact decisions and act as a critical incident escalation point.
• Contribute to the on-call rotation (~1 week/month), leading resolution when
needed
• Lead the architecture and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud
infrastructure.
• Own and optimize the CI/CD pipeline strategy across multiple teams and
business units.
• Design and drive infrastructure-as-code frameworks, ensuring consistency and
compliance.
• Act as the go-to expert for Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native operations.
• Define and enforce DevOps standards, patterns, and best practices across the
organization.
• Collaborate with security, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment
with DevSecOps principles.
• Lead incident response initiatives and proactively manage risk across the
infrastructure stack.
• Evaluate and onboard new technologies that can drive innovation and efficiency.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement
and learning.
• Terraform mastery for advanced infrastructure management and
modularization.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and cluster management at scale.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills (Python preferred).
• Expertise in GitLab CI/CD and pipeline optimization across multi-project
environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms with a focus on Azure (multi-cloud
knowledge a plus).
• In-depth experience with secret management systems (Hashicorp Vault, Azure
Key Vault).
• Familiarity with zero-trust architecture and secure infrastructure design.
• Operational expertise with Linux, container runtimes, and debugging complex
system failures.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or
equivalent.
• Understanding of observability stacks—metrics, logs, tracing—and their
integration.
• Experience in compliance-driven environments (ISO, SOC2) and implementing
supporting infrastructure
