Your Mission
Within the Kudelski Security engineering organization, a growing business expanding its activities in Europe, particularly in Madrid site, you, as an Engineering Manager, will be a key member of the Engineering teams responsible for building and running the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) solutions including agentic capabilities, but also the internal tools set.
As a Cybersecurity provider, we rely on the CFC and MDR to provide services aiming to help our customers to monitor and respond to their security threats.

Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and manage engineers, providing guidance, leadership, and operational management. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth through coaching, mentoring, and addressing challenges.
- Ensure alignment between team activities, department objectives, and the company's vision, while also focusing on personal development and team dynamics to achieve strategic goals.
- Closely partnering with the Product Owner (PO) to ensure effective delivery of agile sprints meeting stakeholders' expectations. The PO focuses on defining the priorities and objectives of the product, while you, as the manager, will be responsible for overseeing the technical execution and ensuring that the team meets set objectives within given timelines.
- Manage internships / trainees with the vision of integrating them into the engineering teams at the end of their studies.
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, orienting, and managing training for employees in concur with business and personal objectives.
- Define yearly objectives with each team member and follow them-up with a course of actions; evaluate outcomes and prevent operational and functional drift.
- Act as a local coordinator in Madrid for your team by increasing collaboration with other teams (India & Switzerland)
- Guarantee good interactions between people within the team, with other developers’ teams and our stakeholders
- Supply first-class support to our stakeholders through various communication channels
- Work in an Agile environment, adhere to and improve the best practices and processes currently in place
- Work closely with product, program, and UX partners to deliver a suite of products
- Be the liaison with local support function (HR, IT) and other onsite Kudelski Security leadership

You have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in management of teams within an agile scrum & DevOps context
- hands-on experience with software development in Kotlin/Java, SnowFlake and AI technologies
- experience managing teams developing using agentics tools
- experience with managing metrics to detect and understand issues and trends with the Team´s activity and make informed decisions
- recent/immediate experience in the DevOps world and public cloud deployments
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- a "can do" attitude and be able to navigate in a fluctuating context, when everything is not defined or can change
These would be a plus:
- Experience with Agentic Engineering
- Experience managing cross-functional local and remote team members
- Interest in Cybersecurity
