O365 Expert Principal - Advisory Services

Mission
As a member of the Advisory delivery team, the Principal is responsible for the delivery and execution of Kudelski Security’s technical advisory and proactive consulting suite of services, with the specific focus of Microsoft 365 security. This is a unique opportunity to deliver and enhance a key set of services with a focus on improving our client’s level of cybersecurity preparedness to combat today’s threats. This role requires cybersecurity expertise and experience to understand and/or assess client cybersecurity challenges and technical needs to develop solutions that address those needs.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about cyber security and the delivery of services-based solutions to the growing cyber threat. The individual will drive a long term client satisfaction with an emphasis on delivering world class consulting. Successful candidates are self-driven, autonomous and highly motivated. An individual with a proven ability to work internally and externally to ensure project objectives are met this team leader will have a rare blend of experience, communication skills and general diplomacy required to lead clients through crisis situations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on cyber risk for the Microsoft O365 platform and services while working to help define potential offerings.
- Assist clients in navigating the journey to the cloud, the associated cyber risks, and risk management strategies with Office 365.
- Conduct cloud security analysis/assessments of client Office and Microsoft 365 environments, assisting clients with configuration of cloud security and compliance reporting
- Advise clients with transitions to Microsoft O365 cloud services, such as tenant setup and service configuration, focused leveraging Microsoft offerings such as IAM, Information Protection, and other Microsoft cyber risk management solutions
- Implementation and definition of industry leading practices around O365 cyber risks and cloud security for clients
- Design and develop cloud-specific security policies, standards and procedures for O365 with regards to tenant management and configuration, identify management and access control, auditing and monitoring, security incident and event management, and Information Protection
- Advise on O365 cloud security engagements during different phases of the lifecycle – assess, design, implementation, & post implementation reviews
- Lead day-to-day billable operations within various client projects that include compliance, policy, procedural, and technical review of client security programs; control gap identification, maturity and risk assessments; and strategic guidance.
- Develop and communicate client project status, project expectations, and ensure the timely delivery of all consulting efforts.
- Maintain an advanced understanding and expertise around all facets of the security industry with in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Security market space
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and assist in the development and roll-out of new consulting methods and tools.
- Assist in the development and ensure adherence of Microsoft Security Service Offering Methodology, Proposal and Reporting Templates, and Scoping Methodology.
- Be an industry spokesperson in front of both small and larger audiences (such as encountered in the case of conferences) and contribute to thought leadership related to practice domain.
Requirements / Profile
- Strong experience working with various Microsoft Security solutions around Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security, Information Protection, Advanced Threat Protection (Azure, Office 365, and Windows Defender), Windows 10 Security Features, Microsoft Web App Security, and other Microsoft security solutions.
- Proven design, planning and implementation experience with securing O365 (e-mail security, Azure AD / IAM, Information Protection, Retention policies, E-Discovery, Logging, B2B & compliance).
- Experience working with customer Productivity and Security teams to help provide guidance in moving to cloud-based security.
- Strong customer relationship skills and willingness to lead customers through successful challenging projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Security Frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53 or OWASP).
- Ability to manage at both long-term planning and operational levels.
- Experience in working with enterprise clients & industry technology partners.
- Proven evidence of successfully working in matrix organization and demonstrated leadership skills including management-by-influence.
- Strong network of industry consultants and customer relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen focus on customer care and commitment.
