Senior Human Resources Manager

Mission
The Sr. HR Manager will devise and implement HR strategies and services to support the US business. Serving as a liaison between the business and regional HR, the HR Manager will assess human resources needs in areas such as recruitment, talent & performance management, compensation & benefits, and training & development. A strong HR generalist background is required to be successful in this dynamic, multi-faceted role.
Responsibilities
This position will provide primary support to the SKIDATA division of the Kudelski Group, while being a valued team member of the broader NAGRA-Kudelski US HR Team.
Deliver strategic HR support to support the company’s business objectives, enhance team performance, and increase effectiveness of the business.
- Act as business partner on HR / People programs and support the delivery of such programs and processes.
- Provide overall HR generalist support for Skidata and its distributed US workforce.
- Partner with leadership to build a strong and rewarding culture where employees are engaged, motivated by their work, and energized by their roles.
- Work closely with the Regional HR Team and Corporate HR functions to identify and share best practices. Collaborate on company-wide talent and change management initiatives.
- Administer Corp HRIS tool as it relates to division requirements, including recruitment, performance development, compensation and training.
- Assist in onboarding and new-hire induction activities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current employment law and HR best practices to interpret applicability to current staff, locations and company policies.
- Own and deliver special HR initiatives or projects as needed.
- Generally, support and foster an HR “culture of excellence”.
Lead and resolve employee relations issues with diligence and compassion
- Provide effective guidance and consultation on employee relations issues; lead and facilitate resolution of issues with a balance between business and staff needs.
- Respond to employee concerns in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
- Support managers with correction conversations, documentation, and activities.
- Craft materials, communications, and training for a flexible and supportive course correction process.
- Coordinate employee terminations.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Provide an annual report on resignation and termination trends with recommendations for improvement.
- Track and report on employee relations trends; recommend improvements.
- Review qualitative and quantitative data in the employee engagement survey tool to inform recommendations for HR and business improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders to build and execute plans to address opportunities.
Lead and manage operational HR programs and be accountable for high quality implementation and maintenance of such programs.
- Manage US HR data in Corporate HRIS and ADP-Workforce Now ensuring data integrity.
- Administer US-based company sponsored health, welfare and retirement plans.
- Partner with benefits broker and Regional HR to assess and analyze current trends and financial performance of company benefit plans; provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations based on company & employee requirements and fiscal drivers.
- Ensure company policies and protocols are in compliance with all relevant regulations, examples: ERISA, ACA-related, HIPPA, wage & hour, records management, etc.
- Supervise relevant audits and discrimination testing.
- Overall accountability for timely submission and accuracy with ACA compliance and reporting activities, with support from regional HR.
- Support HR Coordinator on monthly benefit billing; pull carrier bills, audit for accuracy and process with accounting.
- Partner with HR Coordinator on benefit system management, problem resolution for EDI files, system enhancements, data quality, etc.
- Audit compensation for internal and external equity; provide recommendations to ensure fairness.
- Manage annual compensation review process, as well as provide off-cycle support to managers as needed.
- Research compensation for open and future positions.
- Work with internal recruitment team on sourcing strategies and improving candidate experience.
- Promote and administer Employee Referral program.
- Liaise with finance and payroll departments on headcount planning and employee changes.
- Support immigration management activities, in partnership with VP HR.
- Ensure employees have access to important trainings; track mandatory trainings and completion.
Requirements / Profile
- 7+ years in an HR Manager / Business Partner / Generalist role
- Bachelor’s degree in business or HR management or equivalent; Master’s degree and / or a HR certification a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a strong operational mind-set to deliver results. An effective solutions-driven problem-solver.

- Must be able to partner and work in a highly matrixed, multi-cultural, and sometimes complex environment.
- Sound data and analytical ability with excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and HRIS background. Background working with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- English is required, other languages is an asset.
