Mission
As part of the Data Service team, based in our headquarter in Cheseaux, you will manage, operate, and design different data solutions supporting our services and reporting solutions.
In your position, you will be in touch with a wide specter of technologies both on-premises and in the cloud. You will interact with multiple teams involved in the different parts of the Kudelski group business, and you will get the opportunity to express innovative thinking and design.
Responsibilities
- Operate the different data solution/databases we are supporting
- Develop and manage databases, data workflows and analytical solutions for various projects across multiple subjects.
- Work with business partner to clearly scope projects and thoroughly understand the context and design data solution to support them
- Support and when needed direct data quality efforts to ensure data is accurate and actionable.
- Create and fine-tune data models to achieve the desired business outcomes
- Ensure data resiliency
- Pilot the development and deployment of the different solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master of Science or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in a database administrator/data architect with emphasis in DW/BI related technologies and tools
- Strong hands-on knowledge of MS data technologies stack (Azure and on-premises)
- Working knowledge of AWS data stack (RDS, Aurora, Redshift, Athena)
- Experience working with data integration tools (SSIS, Nifi, Kafka, Spark, Denodo), and Data analysis/visualization tools (PowerBI/SSRS)
- Python/Java
- Knowledge of data lifecycle and maintenance processes
- Understanding of data management, metadata and data quality. Familiarity with data governance best practices desired
- Good understanding of data security and privacy concerns
- Working knowledge of Oracle is a strong plus
