Lead Engineer - Product Owner.

Mission
Reporting to the Enterprise Products Senior Manager, you will be part of a key team which is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of our cybersecurity Products, tools, and projects. You will be responsible for working with various stakeholders to define and prioritize the Backlogs of your teams and Products. The Product Owner (PO) represents product vision and strategy to cross functional and Scrum teams translating the product vision into epics and user stories.
You must orchestrate the priorities and delivery challenges and constraints with the DEVOPS team and factor them in when discussing with the stakeholders/client ensuring clarity between goals, requirement, and delivery in the short, medium, and long term.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Product Backlog management in general.
- Clearly expressing Product Backlog items to your team.
- Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.
- Optimizing the value of the work the Development Team performs.
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team completed after a sprint and will work on next.
- Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
- Collaborate with the Product team and translate business objectives into product backlog items
This role involves
- Closely collaborate with all the key people involved in the product
- Gather requirements directly (or indirectly) from internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a centric and pragmatic medium to suggest balanced solution that fits business vision
- Write detailed epics in collaboration with key people, and get them approved by stakeholders
- Communicate quarterly a high-level status on what has been done and what will be done, in collaboration with the Product Management, from management to sales, presales, operations
- Receive and analyze client feedback and suggest potential ideas or solutions to stakeholders
- Provide in-depth explanation and reporting on ongoing activities to the stakeholders
- Organize and participate to the usual Scrum ceremonies and artifacts (backlog refinement, daily meetings, sprint planning meetings, retrospective meetings, sprint reviews, KPI, reporting…)
- Ensure that the development team clearly understand all stories and objectives and business vision
- Support the launch of new features or Product in collaboration with Product Management, Marketing and Sales
Requirements / Profile
Your profile
- An excellent communicator, able to adapt your communication to both engineers and C-level
- You are collaborative, calm, precise and based on facts
- Capable of having a deep technical understanding of the projects you manage
- Soft skills, leadership, and negotiation skills in general
- Product Management knowledge
- Development’s best practices knowledge
- Technical knowledge (Development, DevSecOps, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, …)
- Able to manage by influence in both technical and non-technical environments
- Motivated by working in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment
- A strong team player, who knows when to take initiatives and can work autonomously
- Very capable of working on several tasks in parallel with multiple interfaces
You have
- Master, bachelor or HES degree in management or IT
- Experience working in an international and multi-cultural business environment
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Fluent English and French speaker
These would be a plus
- Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org or another organization
- Three years of experience as a Product Owner in a global company
- Market knowledge in cybersecurity
