Senior IT Network Engineer.

Mission
As part of the global IT Network team, based in our headquarters of Cheseaux, you will manage and ensure the continuity of our Network services for our internal users as well as defining and deploying new network architecture in a stimulating technological environment.
Responsibilities
Administer and operate, as part of the team, the global network infrastructure: LAN, WAN, WIFI, private and public Cloud, remote access, security to ensure the availability and continuity of network services in accordance with our contractual commitments (SLA)..
- Manage 2nd level incident and request tickets.
- Support & stand for the network operating centre when required.
- Act as a local contact carrying out racking and cabling work, specifically but nor only, for the Cheseaux office.
- Troubleshoot network problems, communicate to stakeholders and if required escalate issues to vendor.
- Design, document and carry out changes as required.
- Ensure a proper life cycle and documentation for the site infrastructure and services under your responsibility staying in line with the team(s) standards and guidelines.
- Act as a source of proposals for the optimization (cost, performance, usability) of the services under the team’s responsibility.
- Participate in the definition of network global standards and technology roadmap in collaboration with the other team members.
- Act as the network representative for IT and Business teams and projects you are member of. Propose concepts & design proposals. Validate them with the relevant stakeholders. Deploy, test and document these architectures.
- Mentor less experienced people within the team & the network operating centre. Adequately transfer knowledge and improve the documentation.

Technical skills:
- Protocols: OSPF, BGP, NHRP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, DNSSEC, IPSEC, 802.1X, 802.11 a must.
- LAN WAN: Cisco IOS, Cisco campus switches, Cisco ISR and ASR routers a must. Proven experience with the design of large campus infrastructures (100+ users)
- WIFI: Cisco 9800-CL Wireless Controller a must. Previous responsibility of a distributed Wi-Fi network for 500+ users a must.
- Security: Palo Alto PAN-OS, Cisco ISE an asset. Nextgen firewall management experience a must.
- AWS & Azure networking an asset.
- Linux networking an asset.
- Python programming, Ansible and Terraform, GIT, CI/CD experience a must.
- Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, ELK competences and previous experience an asset.
Degree & Certifications:
- Bachelors in CS or equivalent experience a must.
- Recent Cisco certification an asset.
- Palo Alto certification an asset.
- ITIL Foundations (V3 preferred) an asset.
- AWS or Azure certifications a strong asset
Soft skills:
- Good communicator; strong verbal and written communication skills.
