Accounting Manager.

Mission

Oversee and manage complex accounting activities at our Swiss headquarter, ensuring meticulous accuracy, steadfast compliance, and timeliness in operations and reporting. Embrace the pivotal role of the bookkeeping for our primary billing entity, while actively contributing to the enhancement of accounting processes and integration of advanced ERP features. This position offers the unique opportunity to be a key contributor of processes improvements.

Responsibilities

General Ledger: Oversee and maintain the integrity of general ledger entries ensuring accuracy and reflection of business transactions. Conduct monthly reconciliations of intercompany balances and sub-ledgers. Maintain a clear balance sheet and deliver insights through income statement analyses.
Financial Reporting: Produce monthly group reports and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Swiss laws and IFRS standards.
Tax: Efficiently handle and submit VAT and income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
Audit: Play a pivotal role in financial audits and facilitate interactions with external auditors, ensuring clarity and compliance in all audits and reviews.
Team Leadership: Directly oversee the accounting activities, ensuring tasks are executed in a timely manner. Mentor the team by providing guidance and support.
Process Improvement: Regularly assess and innovate accounting processes, recommending implementation of improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Support: Act as a beacon of best practices, aiding other departments in financial matters and promoting good financial practices company-wide.

Requirements / Profile

Qualifications:

Certified as a Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management or an equivalent qualification.
Solid experience spanning over 10 years in accounting in an international company.

Other Requirements:

Proficiency in French and English
Advanced mastery over ERP and other financial systems, with a particular aptitude for Excel. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, both independently and as an integral team member.
Flexibility to swiftly adapt to evolving environments and multitask efficiently.
