Product Line Manager

Your Mission
Kudelski is looking for a Product Manager for IoT Solutions. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in IoT end-to-end solutions, IoT ecosystem, and knowledge of IoT verticals including asset tracking, agriculture, industrial, smart city, and security authentication. Qualified candidates will have previous experience successfully bringing innovative products to market.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product strategy and business analysis for our new asset tracking solution. This includes:
- Define the product vision, ensuring that the product supports the Kudelski IoT overall strategy, revenue, and goals.
- Develop core positioning, use cases and messaging for the product.
- Develop product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
- Perform product demos to customers and evangelize the product among customers, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
- Own the specification and product planning for our new IoT solution. This includes:
- Manage product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle: oversee the process from concept to design including sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and product end-of-life.
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, regulatory inputs, prioritized features, and corresponding justification.
- Presenting the specification and product planning business cases to the IoT Board for approval.
Requirements / Profile
This role involves
- Working closely with customers in a pre-sale’s role
- Actively participating in trade fairs and events
- Working directly with commercial teams, Project Managers and Architect to ensure they all fully understand the relevant regulatory requirements for our target markets
- Actively participating in multi-functional teams (R&D, Architects, Operations and Product Management) to define and manage the long-term Product and Technology Roadmap
- Taking responsibility for new product lines, including business plans and margin analysis, as opportunities arise
You are
- Analytical, with a great capacity to think and act strategically
- Able to take concepts and bring them to life
- At ease creating a product vision, defining, and launching end-to-end solutions and translating it into easily understandable value propositions for internal and external audiences
- Skilled at managing technical specifications for new products
- Dynamic, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting and working with people at all levels of an organization from highly technical to the C-suite
You have
- A very good understanding of the IoT industry, IoT market segments., and key drivers for IoT security
- A demonstrated experience of defining products and process, business modelling and the creation of value propositions
- A proven experience in project management and marketing
- A good knowledge of IoT (hardware and software) security systems and security architecture
- Experience working in multi-cultural environments
These would be a plus:
- Knowledge of insurance risk reduction
- The ability to express yourself in any other language
