Mission
As the Real Estate Portfolio Manager, you will have the responsibility to oversee the real estate portfolio of the Group, aiding our business units in budgets management, lease management, facility relocations projects and refining real estate assets to better align with the business requirements of each business unit. You will manage the budgeting and forecasting for over 35 facilities, communicating effectively with leaders within the organization. You will also be responsible for a development project of our Cheseaux headquarter.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the real estate portfolio of the Group, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with the business needs of our business units.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting for the real estate portfolio, including rent, utilities, maintenance, taxes, and capital expenditures.
- Negotiate and manage leases, contracts, and agreements with landlords, vendors, and service providers.
- Coordinate and supervise facility relocations, expansions, consolidations, and closures, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Manage real estate development project, such as headquarter expansion or renovation, overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Monitor and report on the performance and trends of the real estate portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local and global policies, standards, and regulations regarding real estate and facilities management.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as business unit leaders, finance, legal, procurement, and real estate service providers.
Requirements / Profile
If You have
- A Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business administration of related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate portfolio management, preferably in a multinational and technology-oriented environment.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to manage budgets, forecast and financial reports.
- Project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex and cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of real estate market trends, best practices, and regulations in Switzerland and other countries where the Group operates.
If you are
- An excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. Any other language is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with a real estate management software is a plus.
- Ready to occasionally travel abroad.
